Timmy (the Moose) is a dog from Nic Petit's kennel who raced on Blair's Kobuk440 team in April of 2018. At that time, Timmy was only a yearling yet was larger than the adult dogs, thus quickly earning the nickname of Timmy the Moose. He did very well on Blair's 5th place team and became a favorite of the Ugly Dogs. His father is Bison, who also sired the Adventupups.
In the summer of 2018, Nic gave Blair an update on Timmy. He was with Nic's team giving tours in Girdwood. Timmy was a happy husky getting to give kids hugs all day even if he had to bend down to do it.
There was also word that Timmy was present at the Alpine Creek Lodge in December of 2018 and may or may not have gotten some snuggles from Blair.
Blair was allowed to borrow Timmy for her team in the 2019 Iditarod[1], but he was dropped at McGrath with some stomach problems.
Timmy has an appetite for remotes.
